I recently bought my daughter a toy for her birthday. She kept reminding me that this toy was the number one item to put on the shopping list and that it could not be forgotten. The next time I went to the store I needed to get it.

After searching around I found it, Aqua Dots!

She loved it, and made all kinds of cool things with it. A necklace made up of small round Aqua Dots strung together to form a intricate little piece of jewelry.

It was definitely a hit and she spent hours playing with the little round sticky dots.

I was amazed at how well the toy kept her attention.

This is where the story turns bad.
I get a call from my sister, "Have you heard there is a recall on Aqua Dots"?
It turns out these little dots are really bad news, and should not be handled.

There is a recall on these little critters, and now I have to worry about how much exposure my daughter has had with them.

What is going on with all the defective products coming out of China?

I think it's time for better quality control to be done once the items hit the US. It's hard to enforce quality control in another country so it has to be done once the items arrive here.
