Food getting more expensive
Just read another article on rising food cost in the WSJ.
According to the article food cost is up 17% overall from one year ago.
For example, eggs are up 38% over last year, Milk up 30%, and bread up 12%.
Whats going on?
There is a rising middle class in Asia and Latin America that is driving up demand.
Many countries experienced a poor harvest last year, and the new demand for fuel products like ethanol made from grain are on the rise.
So when heading to the grocery store make sure you have your grocery list in hand, and stay on top of those grocery coupons.
