Grocery Shopping For Good Health!

If we don't have our health what do you have? No matter what material things we own, if we are not healthy enough to enjoy them then we don't really benefit from having them at all.

Where am I going with this? You guessed it.
A grocery list is a tool that can be used to create better health.

By planning out your trip to the grocery store and adding healthy items to your grocery list you will reap the rewards of good health. Translation, more time with friends and family since you will be less likely to be infirmed. More energy and vitality to get out and enjoy all the things we work so hard for.

According to a book I read "Fantastic Voyage" by Ray Kurzweil, our bodies get energy from three sources Fats,Protein, and Carbohydrates. Of these three guess which one is not needed for survival?

Right, the villainous Mr. Carb.....

Reducing high carb items from our grocery list can reduce body weight, and protect us from blood sugar spikes than can trigger diabetes.

How do we know what foods are high in carbs? Get in the habit of reading the food labels. It takes a little time but after a while you start getting a feel for what food items are loaded with carbs.
